Our Mission
Voices in Action provides modern and accessible solutions to create safety and gender equity in the film, television, music, and creative arts industries. We do this through a unique system that combines innovative technology and effective education, trainings, and empowerment courses, along with holistic support services for survivors of all forms of power imbalance and sexual or gender-based assault.
Our documenting submission portal allows survivors of various types of abuse to detail their experiences with a timestamp to keep for their own personal use of potential evidence in the future if they choose to come forward. Victims are able to track serial perpetrators by receiving optional alerts if another individual names the same abuser as them. Victims are then able to request to match and talk with each other under the confidence and privilege of an attorney who has thoroughly vetted all identities in private.
Voices in Action prioritizes the privacy of all survivors and ensures that all information provided remains private to the individual user and secured through advanced encryption and firewall tools. All forms are HIPPA compliant and trauma-focused.
Voices in Action's goal is to empower employees in the entertainment industry to create safe work spaces, promote equality and inclusion, and accountability for those who abuse their positions of power.
Voices in Action believes that the arts are for everyone, not just the few. We are here to ensure more women, more non-binary individuals, more races, and more sizes are seated at the table and given access to the tools to keep them safe from harm, abuse, harassment, retaliation, and revenge.
Voices in Action supports all genders, races, and sexual orientations.
